Happy Easter to all!
We’ve had a busy couple of months here at Kilgrimol. Our girls have joined Guides from St Annes, Ansdell, Warton and Kirkham at the Fylde Division Guide holiday enjoying ‘Seasonal Shenanigans’. We had fun with activities from across the year so we started with Bonfire Night on the Friday evening then enjoyed:
• Christmas,
• New Year,
• Spring,
• Easter and
• Summer
All in the weekend!
Our Rainbows and Brownies had fun making Mother’s Day and Easter crafts and games alongside working towards badges. Rainbows have been particularly busy working on their First Aid Skills Builder badge and we’re pleased to say they have been awarded with the badge. Well done everyone.
Whilst our Rainbow group is full with a large waiting list, we do have a few spaces in Brownies (aged 7-10) and Guides (aged 10-14). Register on girlguiding.org.uk for a place. We’d also welcome more volunteers to join our leader teams. Have fun and help us give girls life skills, fun and adventure. See our previous article or get in touch with us directly to find out more.
In fundraising news, we had a brilliant Books, Brews and Bakes sale and raised over £200.
Join us at our Craft Fair on Saturday 16th May at St Paul’s Fairhaven and our next Books, Brews and Bakes on Saturday 23rd May at Kilgrimol.
